Here is the thing, I want to grow deeper in my love for Jesus and I want you to grow deeper in your love for Jesus and I know that when we seek to grow together, both are accomplished. Redemption City Church is one of those places where we can grow with one another. Jesus wants to redeem every aspect of our lives and turn them into reasons to celebrate his love and goodness. Every ugly moment, every crushing wound, every dark desire, Jesus wants to rework in us so that we can live in his freedom and love. And while there is much that God does directly in our own heart, God grows us just as much through other believers. He has called us to be a community that encourages each other through tough times. To care for each other while also being brave enough to gently address each other’s’ hurtful behavior.
This is the community into which God calls his followers and this is the heart of Redemption City Church. We see this kind of community happen all the time, but what specifically makes me excited about Redemption City Church is that we are committed to grow with each other as a family of many cultures, ethnicities, and backgrounds. Jesus broke down barriers between people to join us into God’s one family. So now we come together not merely ready to accept each other, but excited to honor everything that makes that person who they are. Together we can be the image of God’s goodness on earth and we are so excited for you to join this story.
