Let’s Talk COVID Safety:
To keep everyone equitably safe during the sleepover we are requiring Negative Reading COVID test results that are to be taken that same day; just before coming to the sleepover. When arriving, you will need to show the negative results that are time-stamped for that same day before entering. IMPORTANT: It is very important to come straight from the test site to my house to ensure you have no other exposure when entering.
Please keep in mind that I both have Lyme disease and a severely compromised immune system from a spinal cord injury. I am also unvaccinated because of my compromised health. Therefore, following these instructions with totality is not only appreciated but non-negotiable for the safety of my family. This is a great trust I’m extending to each person regarding the protocols. With that being said, here’s the best way to make this a smooth day for each of you:

Get Tested:
Around two to three days before the sleepover, schedule a test specifically @ GS Labs in Lake Oswego. There are appointments available every 3 minutes. By scheduling a couple days in advance you’ll be able to specifically pick a time that best allows you to head directly to my house immediately following.

Ideal time-slots: Anything between 1:00pm and 2:00pm
Make sure you provide the correct email: Make sure there’s no typos when you fill out your email on the paperwork. They will send the results to that email address within 25 minutes of you finishing the test. It’s super convenient: You literally don’t even have to leave your car. The whole process takes no longer than six minutes! |
Critical paperwork reminder: When filling out the questionnaire, SAY YES to the question that says,
“Have you recently been exposed to COVID?”
By checking that box, it will ensure that your insurance company picks up the full bill with no cost to you. You can faithfully and ethically check that box because every day we are exposed to COVID in our regular interactions, at stores, etc.
With that being said, we hope to see you there. We ask for RSVPs for attendance no later than Thursday August 5th.
