What The Davis Family is Doing Matters..
Hi my name is Brandon and I'm a close friend of Jack and Vanessa! On behalf of the Davis Family, I was invited to lead the charge on raising funds for the adoption transition of Kohana and Jordan to their home! (Their beautiful adoptive kids are just a couple months away from fully transitioning to the Davis Family! Woo Hoo!)

So here’s the thing. By receiving this link, it means that you already intimately know, care, and love Jack and Vanessa. I'm so glad we share that in common. So team, this page wasn’t created to convince or compel you to give. I’m making the assumption that you already want to give because Jack and Vanessa are your people; just like they are my people.
And this page is also not about promoting Kohana and Jordan as worthy to be invested into. I’m making the assumption that you're already pumped about investing into them; simply because they’re attached to Jack and Vanessa now and forever; It’s their kids! Partnering Financially: Adoption is not cheap. And right now, the Davis family could use all of our financial partnership in a real way. The goal is to raise $12,000 for them by October 31st. With the recent loss of Vanessa's job, things are particularly tight for them financially. Now God has been faithful and they are currently stable; but by raising this $12,000 gift, we would be able to provide EVERYTHING they need to have an amazing start with their new family of 4! From beds, to clothes, to toys, to furniture, to appropriate time off for both parents to be home during the transition week of the children moving in and beyond; $12,000 is the number! Everything‘s been calculate and all the details prayerfully examined…$12,000 is our mark by October 31st. And we can do it.
Partnering Fully: What’s the best gift you can give them? This is something Jillian (my wife) and I are praying about right now. Again, I am already assuming that you’re going to give something by the mere fact that they put you on this list. So this is less about that and more about encouraging you to give fully so you don't miss the heart of this assignment. I prayerfully and intentionally didn’t send out a GoFundMe page to hundreds of people. Instead, I decided to come to their intimate community to get things done smoothly and time-efficiently. And I believe if we all give fully, we will be able to accomplish our goal! Partnering Freely: If you know Jack and Vanessa well, they never want to be a burden to anyone. Therefore, I believe the most honoring gift we can give them is one that we give freely from our hearts. |
